The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri spends over $1 million each year to provide the homeless animals we take in the care they need. We rely on donations to help us cover these costs.
Your kennel sponsorship helps us care for the 5,000+ homeless animals we rescue each year while they wait for their new life-long home!
A sponsorship provides individuals, families, private organizations, and businesses with a great opportunity to directly support the animals we rescue. You can “adopt” a small or large kennel to help EVERY animal staying in your kennel for one year and help us ensure that each animal rescued at HSSWMO receives the shelter, nourishment, and medical care they need so much. We are open 7 days a week, only closing to the public two days out of the year - Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. On average, 75+ individuals visit our shelter daily, 2,250+ monthly, and 27,000+ yearly, so it’s also a great way for local businesses to let the public see your business’ logo and know that your company helps animals in need.
In return for your Kennel Sponsorship, besides the reward of knowing you helped animals in need, you will also receive the following recognition:
A highly visible, personalized sponsorship plaque hung above/on your sponsored kennel for an entire year. Plaques can be personalized with your name, your company’s name and logo, or in memory/honor of a beloved family member/friend or cherished pet. The large kennel plaque can hold 75 characters and the small kennel plaque can hold 15 characters.

HSSWMO has 156 kennels available for sponsorship with fees as follows:
Large Dog Kennel: $500/year
Small Dog & Puppy Kennel: $250/year
Cat & Kitten Kennel: $250/year
