Volunteer As A Group

Volunteering as a group is a great way to team build with your co-workers and family! Group days are vital to our shelter, as they allow us to plan and execute large scale projects that would not be possible on a regular basis.

Our facility can accommodate groups of up to 10 adults at one time. Larger groups and junior volunteer groups must be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on shelter needs at the time of inquiry. Each group is asked to spend a minimum of 2 hours at the shelter during their scheduled day, and each individual attending must submit a volunteer application prior to their scheduled day.

Group volunteer days tackle a wide variety of unmet needs at our shelter, including but not limited to:

• Grounds clean up
• Organizing and sorting of storage items
• Shelter Photo Day - every animal needs a good profile photo to find their forever family!
• Project Completion - stuff envelopes, address envelopes, create thank you bags, assemble equipment, data entry, decorate for holidays, and more! ​
