All current pets in the home must be up to date on vaccinations prior to fostering. This can be verified with a phone call to your vet or by providing a copy of your animal’s vet records.
We require all landlords or property management companies to approve the foster animal being at the residence. Any pet fee required is the responsibility of the foster. This can be confirmed with a phone call to the landlord or with a written statement from the landlord.
Once you fill out the application, you will be contacted via phone or email by our Foster Coordinator. Please allow some time for this; you will be contacted once your application is approved and when we have a pet in need that fits your home and preferences. If you submit your application and you haven’t been called or emailed yet, feel free to call the shelter and inquire about the status of your application.
