When good Samaritans bring in stray animals, they are put on a stray hold for 5 days in the hopes that their owner will reclaim them. If a found stray is not claimed by an owner after 5 days, then they become available for adoption.
If you are the owner of one of these found pets, please contact us by phone,email, or stop by in person at 3161 W. Norton Rd. When reclaiming an animal, you must provide proof of animal ownership (vet records, identifying photo, etc.). At the time of reclaim, you are subject to boarding fees and medical costs.
