The Southwest Missouri Humane Society does everything humanly possible to find good homes for unwanted and homeless dogs and cats. Please consider one of our animals when you plan to add a dog or cat to your family. Our adoptions hours are:
West Norton Facility – 12pm – 5pm Tuesday through Saturday
Dog Adoption Fee - $75.00 which includes spay or neuter (if required), combination vaccine (if under 1 year of age), and de-worming treatment.
Cat Adoption Fee - $65.00 which includes spay or neuter (if required), combination vaccine including the killer calicivirus, and de-worming treatment.
All pets adopted from the Southwest Missouri Humane Society must be spayed or neutered under Missouri state law. We will assist you in finding a veterinarian who will honor our certificate.
Each animal must visit a veterinarian of your choice within ten days of adoption. If you find that you are unable to keep the animal during the first 30 days, you may exchange it for another animal or a gift certificate good for 6 months.
