About Us

The Southwest Missouri Humane Society is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. Donations made to us are considered tax deductible.

We survive solely on donations and service fees. We receive NO assistance from national or state Humane Societies, SPCAs, or government agencies.

Over 7,000 animals will enter our shelter in 2007 in search of new homes. Each day we will provide shelter, food, and medical care for over 250 animals.

We need your help to keep our doors open and provide a place for dogs and cats to wait until new homes can be located.
